§ 2-66. Membership, vacancies.

(a)

The recreation commission shall consist of seven members appointed by the mayor with the consent of the board of aldermen. The terms of said appointment shall be as follows:

(1)

Two members for a period of one year;

(2)

Two members for a period of two years;

(3)

Two members for a period of three years; and

(4)

One member for a period of four years.

(b)

Vacancies in the recreation commission occurring other than by expiration of term shall be filled by the mayor for the unexpired term.
