§ 32-248. Definitions.

  • The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

    Labor crews means a group of eight or more laborers who are employed by the same or different employers, who live together on the same premises, and who are quartered together on such premises by the employer.

    Letting premises for labor crews means the granting of the right to use or the leasing or renting of any premises knowing that they are to be used for quartering, housing or occupancy by a labor crew or crews, or allowing the continued use of the premises with such knowledge.
