§ 36-74. Basis for numbering buildings.

Each building shall bear a number indicating its location from the baselines established in section 36-73. All numbers shall be assigned on the basis of one number for every 50 feet of frontage along the street, and each block shall be numbered consecutively from the baseline. In special circumstances, spacing may be lessened for numbers to be assigned, and block numbers may have to be changed before intersections in some cases.
