§ 38-61. Water meters.

(a)

Standard. The kind and make of meter to be used by consumers of water from the municipal water system shall be such as may be adopted by the mayor and city council from time to time, and no other meter shall be permitted to be installed.

(b)

Ownership. Said meters shall be furnished to the consumers, and no consumer shall acquire ownership of a meter.
