§ 38-108. Commercial installations.

  • (a)

    Each commercial establishment shall be served by an individual meter.

    (b)

    Two or more mobile homes on a particular lot or tract of land shall be considered as a trailer park and one meter shall be installed to serve the trailer park.

    (1)

    The size of meter installed shall be consistent with the following schedule:

    Trailer spaces Meter size and type
    2—10 5/8 -inch
    11—35 1-inch
    Over 35 2-inch compound

     

    (2)

    It shall be the responsibility of the trailer park owner to install and maintain the distribution system from the meter to the individual trailers. However, to ensure adequate pressure and volume of water to the mobile home owner, the following minimum size mains and services shall be installed:

    Minimum size main Minimum service
    2—10 1½" ¾"
    11—35 2" ¾"
    Over 35 2" ¾"

     

    (3)

    This distribution system may be constructed of schedule 150 cast-iron pipe, type "K," copper pipe or cresline NT 100 plastic pipe, or an approved equal, as applicable. Galvanized iron pipe shall not be used.
