§ 4-1. Classification of dealers in intoxicating beverages.

  • The dealers in or sellers of whiskey, wine, beer or other intoxicating beverages shall be classed and defined as follows:

    (1)

    Class A: High alcoholic content liquor retailer outlet, authorizes sale of alcoholic beverages having an alcoholic content of more than six percent of volume and consumption on or off the licensed premises.

    (2)

    Class B: High alcoholic content liquor package house, authorizes sale of alcoholic beverages having an alcoholic content of more than six percent by volume in sealed containers prepared for transportation and consumption off the licensed premises.

    (3)

    Class C: Low alcoholic content liquor retailer outlet, authorizes sale of alcoholic beverages having an alcoholic content of less than six percent of volume and consumption on or off the licensed premises.

    (4)

    Class D: Low alcoholic content liquor package house, authorizes sale of alcoholic beverages having an alcoholic content of less than six percent of volume in sealed containers prepared for transportation and consumption off the licensed premises.
