In addition to all other procedures set forth in this article, an owner, occupant
or other persons having an interest in the property may receive a misdemeanor citation
or summons for any violation of the provisions of this article, and upon conviction,
pay a civil penalty of $100.00 per day which shall be imposed by order of the city
court. Each day that the violation exists shall constitute a separate violation. In
addition to the imposition of the aforesaid penalty, the city court shall order the
violator to pay all costs and fees incurred by the city for securing, demolition or
removal or both, of such structures, and for maintenance of property in a sanitary
condition, as well as all engineering, architect, building inspector and legal fees
incurred by the city in connection with the securing, demolition or removal.
