§ 8-129. Investigation of leaks, defects in piping.

Every person learning of a leak or defect in any gas house piping or appliance shall forthwith report all facts in connection therewith in writing to the gas inspector. The gas inspector shall thereupon inspect all gas equipment at the location named in such report, and if he finds leaks or defects he may turn off the gas and it shall be unlawful thereafter for any person to turn the gas on again until the gas inspector has certified that such leak or defect has been repaired or removed.
