§ 8-251. Fee to accompany application for license.

Every person applying for a license to engage in the work of plumbing, drain laying or sewer drainage installation or repair hereunder shall deposit with his application a fee in cash, which amount shall be retained by the mayor and city council in the event such license is issued, but shall be returned to the applicant in case his application for license is rejected. The application fee shall be in an amount as established by the mayor and city council from time to time.
