§ 10-128. Special licenses.

(a)

Notwithstanding any other provision of this article to the contrary, the city may issue a special license for the conduct of no more than two bingo sessions annually at which the total amount of prizes which may be awarded on any one calendar day under such a license shall not exceed $25,000.00 in cash or other things of value. Except as otherwise provided herein, all other provisions of this article shall apply to the issuance of such special licenses.

(b)

Such license shall not be issued to any organization as provided herein unless that organization has first obtained a special charitable gaming license from the state as provided in under R.S. 4:718.
