Chapter 16. EMPLOYEE DRUG-TESTING PROGRAM

§ 16-3. Conduct prohibited.

Employees of the city, including applicants and volunteers, shall not ingest any narcotics, controlled dangerous substances or designer drugs, unless prescribed by a physician licensed to practice medicine, and shall not abuse the legal use of prescription or over-the-counter drugs. Any person subject to this chapter who is required to take prescription medicine shall notify his immediate supervisor or the mayor of the type of medication prescribed.
