§ 16-4. Inspection and reporting.

  • (a)

    All property belonging to the city shall be subject to inspection, in furtherance of this chapter, at any time. There shall be no expectation of privacy concerning any property belonging to the city. Property belonging to the city which is subject to inspection includes, but is not limited to, vehicles, desks, files, containers and lockers.

    (b)

    Any person, subject to this chapter, who has reason to believe that another person who is subject to this chapter is violating the rules contained in the section of this chapter entitled "conduct prohibited" shall notify the mayor and city council of such violation.

    (c)

    Any person subject to this chapter who is required to take prescription medicine that may impair his abilities in the course of city business to perform any duty related to his employment shall report this to the mayor, who may alter that person's duties without retribution to that person.
