§ 38-73. Penalties.

Any water customer who fails to follow the state plumbing code or to comply with section 38-72 shall be subject to the following penalties:
(1)

Water service to the premises shall be disconnected without notice or legal proceeding being required, and shall remain disconnected until compliance with the state plumbing code and with section 38-72;

(2)

Punished by a fine not exceeding $500.00; and

(3)

Imprisoned for a term not exceeding 60 days.

Penalties (2) and (3) of this section shall be enforced through proceedings in the mayor's court of the city.
