§ 6-4. Impoundment of animals, fowl at large.

It shall be the duty of the marshal of the city, or his assistants, to take up and impound any animal or fowl found running at large within the corporate limits and to give notice thereof to the public by posting a written notice, containing a description of said animal or fowl in at least two conspicuous places in the city.
