§ 8-112. Definitions.

The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

Coated and wrapped pipe means iron or steel pipe which has been thoroughly cleaned, painted with asphalt or pitch, and wrapped with burlap, asbestos felt or other protective covering.

House piping means the gas pipe from the gas meter outlet to the gas burning appliance or appliances.

Service line means the gas pipe from the gas main to the meter location.
